The JURCC MPP92-BOX is a metallized film cartridge capacitor specifically designed for LLC/LCC resonant and RC/RCC/DRC absorption circuits in LED driver power supplies and various switching power supplies. It offers an improvement over traditional epoxy-encapsulated metallized film capacitors, addressing issues like low power factor, energy loss, overheating, short lifespan, and inconsistent dimensions. Key advantages include reduced risk of thermal damage during wave soldering (eliminating the need for K-leads), lower noise, enhanced contact area for reduced high-frequency loss, and improved surge voltage/current handling. The capacitor features a PBT synthetic resin shell and flame-retardant epoxy potting for increased moisture and flame resistance. It excels in high-frequency applications (up to 1000KHz) with low loss, making it suitable for high-current, high-frequency scenarios and general use in resonance, bypass, DC blocking, filtering, and coupling circuits.
