Product Overview

The JURCC MPP85-BOX is a metallized film box capacitor specifically designed for LED driver power supplies and various switching power supply PFC control circuits. It serves as a filtering and energy storage capacitor, offering an alternative to traditional powder epoxy resin encapsulated metallized film capacitors. Key advantages include the elimination of the risk of thermal damage during wave soldering (no K-foot required), reduced cost, smaller noise, significantly increased spray gold contact area (150-200% larger than ordinary structures), lower high-frequency loss, enhanced ability to withstand voltage and current surges, and reduced internal heat generation. The capacitor features a PBT synthetic resin casing and flame-retardant epoxy resin potting, providing improved moisture resistance and flame retardancy. It boasts good appearance consistency, a C-grade flame retardancy rating, and a maximum operating temperature of 110. Its excellent frequency characteristics and low high-frequency loss make it ideal for high-current applications and widely used for bypass, DC isolation, filtering, coupling, resonance, and RC voltage reduction in various electronic and electrical products.
