Product Overview

The JURCC MPP85-BOX is a metallized film box capacitor specifically designed for the PFC control circuits of LED driver power supplies and various switching power supplies. It serves as a filter and energy storage capacitor, offering an alternative to traditional powder epoxy encapsulated metallized film capacitors. Key advantages include the elimination of the risk of thermal damage during wave soldering (no K-foot required), reduced costs, and improved performance over traditional capacitors which may suffer from fire hazards, short lifespans, non-standard dimensions, and casing cracks. The MPP85-BOX features lower noise, significantly increased spray-gold contact area (150-200% more) for reduced high-frequency loss and better surge handling, lower internal heat generation, and enhanced lifespan assurance through rigorous testing. Encased in PBT synthetic resin and flame-retardant epoxy resin, it offers improved moisture resistance and flame retardancy, good appearance consistency, a Class C flammability rating, and a maximum operating temperature of 110. Its excellent frequency characteristics and low high-frequency loss make it ideal for high-current applications and suitable for various electronic products as bypass, DC blocking, filtering, coupling, resonance, and RC voltage reduction components.
