The MPP92-BOX is a metallized film cartridge capacitor specifically designed for LLC/LCC resonant and RC/RCC/DRC absorption circuits in LED driver power supplies and various switching power supplies. It offers an alternative to traditional powder epoxy resin encapsulated metallized film capacitors, addressing common issues such as low power factor, high energy loss, capacitor overheating and damage, fire hazards, short lifespan, non-standard dimensions, and casing cracking. Key advantages include elimination of the risk of thermal damage during wave soldering (no K-foot treatment required, reducing costs), lower noise compared to traditional film capacitors, and significantly improved contact area (150-200% increase) due to a special internal structure with gold spraying, leading to lower high-frequency loss, better surge current/voltage handling, and reduced internal heat generation. This enhances power factor and minimizes energy loss.
