Product Description

The MPP92-BOX is a metallized film cartridge capacitor specifically designed for LLC/LCC resonant and RC/RCC/DRC absorption circuits in LED driver power supplies and various switching power supplies. It replaces traditional powder epoxy resin encapsulated metallized film capacitors, addressing their drawbacks such as low power factor, high energy loss, capacitor overheating, short lifespan, non-standard dimensions, and casing cracking. Key advantages include no risk of damage during wave soldering (eliminating the need for K-foot processing and reducing costs), lower noise compared to traditional film capacitors, and significantly improved contact area (150-200% increase) due to a special internal structure with gold spraying. This results in lower high-frequency loss, enhanced surge current and voltage handling, reduced internal heat generation, and improved power factor. Encased in a PBT synthetic resin shell and potted with flame-retardant epoxy resin, it offers improved moisture resistance and flame retardancy, consistent appearance, and a high-temperature resistance of 110. Its excellent high-frequency characteristics (up to 1000KHz) and low high-frequency loss make it ideal for high-current, high-frequency applications such as resonance, bypass, DC blocking, filtering, and coupling in various electronic and electrical products.
