Product Overview

The JURCC MPP85-BOX is a metallized film box capacitor specifically designed for the PFC control circuits of LED drivers and various switching power supplies. It serves as a filtering and energy storage capacitor, offering an alternative to traditional powder epoxy encapsulated metallized film capacitors. This product eliminates the risk of thermal damage during wave soldering, negating the need for a K-foot and reducing costs. It addresses common defects of traditional film capacitors such as fire hazards, short lifespan, non-standard dimensions, and casing cracking. The MPP85-BOX features reduced noise compared to conventional film capacitors, enhanced spray gold contact area (150-200% increase) for lower high-frequency loss, improved surge voltage and current handling, and significantly reduced internal heat generation. It utilizes a PBT synthetic resin casing and flame-retardant epoxy potting, enhancing moisture resistance and flame retardancy. With good appearance consistency and a flame retardant rating of Class C, it operates at temperatures up to 110C. Its excellent frequency characteristics and low high-frequency loss make it ideal for high-current applications and widely used for bypassing, DC blocking, filtering, coupling, resonance, and RC voltage dividing in various electronic and electrical products.
