JURCC MPP85-BOX Metallized Film Box Capacitor Datasheet

The JURCC MPP85-BOX is a metallized film box capacitor specifically designed for PFC control circuits in LED drivers and various switching power supplies. It serves as an alternative to traditional powder epoxy resin encapsulated metallized film capacitors. Key advantages include the elimination of the risk of thermal damage (scald) during wave soldering, as the 'K' foot treatment is unnecessary, leading to cost reduction. Unlike traditional capacitors that can be prone to fire, short lifespan, irregular dimensions, and casing cracks, the MPP85-BOX offers improved performance and durability. Its specially designed internal structure enhances spray gold contact area by 150-200%, resulting in lower high-frequency loss, greater tolerance to voltage and current surges, and reduced internal heat generation. The capacitor utilizes PBT synthetic resin for its casing and flame-retardant epoxy resin for potting, significantly improving moisture resistance and flame retardancy. It boasts good appearance consistency, a flame retardant rating of Class C, and a maximum operating temperature of 110. Its excellent frequency characteristics and low high-frequency loss make it ideal for high-current applications and suitable for various electronic and electrical products for bypass, DC isolation, filtering, coupling, resonance, and RC voltage reduction.
