The MPP92-BOX is a metallized film cartridge capacitor specifically designed for LLC/LCC resonant and RC/RCC/DRC absorption circuits in LED driver and switching power supplies. It offers an alternative to traditional epoxy-encapsulated metallized film capacitors, addressing issues such as low power factor, high energy loss, capacitor overheating, short lifespan, non-standard dimensions, and casing cracking. Key advantages include a reduced risk of damage during wave soldering (eliminating the need for K-foot processing), lower noise levels, and significantly improved contact area (150-200% increase) due to a special internal structure, leading to lower high-frequency loss, higher surge current/voltage tolerance, and reduced internal heat generation. This enhances power factor and minimizes energy loss. The capacitor is encased in a PBT synthetic resin shell and filled with flame-retardant epoxy resin for improved moisture resistance and flame retardancy, ensuring good appearance consistency and a temperature resistance of 110. It also exhibits excellent high-frequency characteristics (up to 1000KHz) with low high-frequency loss, making it suitable for high-current, high-frequency applications. Its uses extend to resonance, bypass, DC blocking, filtering, and coupling in various electronic and electrical products.
