The JURCC MPP85-BOX is a metallized film box capacitor specifically designed for the PFC control circuits of LED driver power supplies and various switching power supplies. It serves as a high-performance alternative to traditional epoxy-encapsulated metallized film capacitors. Key advantages include eliminating the risk of damage during wave soldering (no K-foot required), reduced fire risk, extended lifespan, standardized dimensions, and improved casing integrity. This capacitor offers lower noise, enhanced spray-gold contact for reduced high-frequency loss, and greater tolerance to voltage and current surges due to its specialized internal structure. Encased in PBT synthetic resin and flame-retardant epoxy, it boasts superior moisture resistance, flame retardancy, and consistent appearance, meeting a C-grade flammability rating and operating up to 110. Its excellent frequency characteristics and low high-frequency loss make it ideal for high-current applications and various electronic circuits as a bypass, DC-blocking, filtering, coupling, resonant, or RC-step-down component.
