Product Overview

The JURCC MPP85-BOX is a metallized film box capacitor specifically designed for PFC control circuits in LED drivers and switching power supplies. It offers an alternative to traditional powder epoxy encapsulated metallized film capacitors, eliminating the risk of thermal damage during wave soldering and the need for K-leads, thereby reducing costs. Key advantages include reduced noise, significantly increased spray-gold contact area (150-200%) for lower high-frequency loss, enhanced surge voltage and current handling, and reduced internal heat generation. The capacitor features a PBT synthetic resin case, flame-retardant epoxy potting for improved moisture and flame resistance, good appearance consistency, a C-grade flammability rating, and a maximum operating temperature of 110. It is also suitable for applications requiring excellent frequency characteristics, low high-frequency loss, and high current handling, finding use in bypass, DC isolation, filtering, coupling, resonance, and RC voltage dividing circuits.
