Product Overview

The JURCC MPP85-BOX is a metallized film box capacitor specifically designed for PFC control circuits in LED drivers and switching power supplies. It serves as a replacement for traditional powder epoxy encapsulated metallized film capacitors, offering enhanced safety by eliminating the risk of thermal damage during wave soldering and the need for a K-foot. Key advantages include reduced noise, significantly improved contact area (150-200% increase) for lower high-frequency loss, better surge voltage and current handling, and reduced internal heat generation. Encased in PBT synthetic resin and flame-retardant epoxy resin, it boasts improved moisture resistance, flame retardancy, and a consistent appearance with a C-grade flammability rating and a temperature resistance of 110. Its excellent frequency characteristics and low high-frequency loss make it ideal for high-current applications, and it is widely used for bypassing, DC isolation, filtering, coupling, resonance, and RC voltage reduction in various electronic devices.
