The JURCC MPP92-BOX is a metallized film cartridge capacitor specifically designed for LED driver power supplies and various switching power supplies, including LLC/LCC resonant and RC/RCC/DRC absorption circuits. It offers an alternative to traditional epoxy-encapsulated metallized film capacitors, addressing issues such as low power factor, energy loss, capacitor heating, short lifespan, and inconsistent dimensions. Key advantages include reduced risk of thermal damage during wave soldering (eliminating the need for K-legs), lower noise, enhanced contact area for reduced high-frequency loss, and improved surge voltage/current handling. The capacitor is encapsulated in PBT synthetic resin with flame-retardant epoxy resin, offering enhanced moisture and flame resistance, good appearance consistency, and a flame retardant rating of C. It also boasts excellent high-frequency characteristics (up to 1000KHz) with low high-frequency loss, making it suitable for high-current, high-frequency applications like resonance, bypass, DC blocking, filtering, and coupling.
