The MPP92-BOX is a metallized film cartridge capacitor specifically designed for LLC/LCC resonant and RC/RCC/DRC absorption circuits in LED driver power supplies and various switching power supplies. It serves as an oscillating capacitor, offering an alternative to traditional powder epoxy encapsulated metallized film capacitors. Key advantages include reduced power factor issues, lower energy loss, improved heat dissipation, enhanced lifespan, and a more standardized form factor compared to conventional capacitors. This capacitor eliminates the risk of thermal damage during wave soldering, has lower noise, and features a specially designed internal structure with increased gold spraying contact area (150-200%) for reduced high-frequency loss, better surge current/voltage handling, and lower internal heat generation. It is encapsulated in a PBT synthetic resin shell and filled with flame-retardant epoxy resin for improved moisture resistance and flame retardancy, ensuring good appearance consistency and a maximum operating temperature of 110. Its excellent high-frequency characteristics (up to 1000KHz) and low loss make it suitable for high-current, high-frequency applications, including resonance, bypass, DC isolation, filtering, and coupling in various electronic products.
