The JURCC MPP92-BOX is a metallized film cartridge capacitor specifically designed for LED driver power supplies and various switching power supplies, including LLC/LCC resonant and RC/RCC/DRC absorption circuits. It offers an alternative to traditional epoxy-encapsulated metallized film capacitors, addressing common issues such as low power factor, high energy loss, capacitor overheating, short lifespan, and inconsistent dimensions. Key advantages include a reduced risk of damage during wave soldering (eliminating the need for K-leads), lower noise, and enhanced contact capabilities due to a specially designed internal structure that increases gold spray contact area by 150-200%. This leads to lower high-frequency loss, improved surge voltage and current handling, reduced internal heat generation, and more efficient power transfer. The capacitor is housed in a PBT synthetic resin shell and potted with flame-retardant epoxy resin, providing enhanced moisture and flame resistance, good appearance consistency, and a flame retardant rating of C.
