Explanation of Important Terminology

• Rated Capacitance: Expressed by a three-digit number (e.g., 224 = 220,000pF or 0.22uF).
• Capacitance Tolerance: Permissible deviation from rated capacitance (e.g., J=5%).
• Dissipation Factor (DF): Measure of power loss (tg = P/Q), typically measured at 20, 1kHz.
• Insulation Resistance (IR): Ratio of applied DC voltage to leakage current after 1 minute, measured at 20, RH65%. Expressed in M for low capacitance or as a time constant (M*uF) for higher capacitance.
• Self-healing: Ability of metallized film capacitors to isolate a breakdown point by evaporating the metal layer, preventing permanent short circuits.

• Soldering Suggestion: Max Soldering Temperature: Pre-heating 105 1min, Soldering 270 4S.
• Storage Environment and Conditions: Store at 30, 70% humidity in MBB (Moisture Barrier Bag) for up to 24 months. Avoid exposure to atmosphere containing corrosive gases (HCl, H2S, SO2) which can degrade solderability. Do not expose to high temperature and high humidity.
