Product Overview
The JIMSON (JS) MPC capacitor is a non-inductive, self-healing type designed for high-voltage applications in power electronics. Featuring polypropylene film dielectric and vacuum-evaporated metal electrodes, it offers excellent physical and environmental characteristics, capable of withstanding over-voltage stressing. This capacitor is widely used in IGBT snubber circuits, series/parallel resonant circuits, and for absorbing peak voltage and current in power electronic devices.

Storage and Handling
Storage Environment: Store at temperatures 30 and humidity 70%. Unopened MBB (Moisture Barrier Bag) ensures a 24-month shelf life. Avoid exposure to high temperature and high humidity. Due to atmospheric contaminants, solderability of terminations may degrade if stored in open air.
Soldering Suggestion: Maximum Soldering Temperature: 270 for 4s. Pre-heating: 105 for 1min.
Salt Fog Test: For tin-plated copper-coated steel leads, perform salt mist testing after wave peak welding.
