The JIMSON ELECTRONICS (XIAMEN) CO.,LTD. MPP Capacitor is designed for high stability of capacitance and dissipation factor (DF) across varying temperatures and frequencies. It features low loss, high insulation resistance, a non-inductive construction with self-healing properties, and very small inherent temperature rise. This capacitor is suitable for general resonance circuits, DC pulse, high-frequency, and low-current circuits, as well as S-shaping correction circuits in color TV sets where small size and superior performance are required.

  • Self-healing: Ability of metallized film capacitors to isolate a breakdown point by evaporating the thin metal layer around it, preventing permanent short circuits.

Storage and Handling

  • Storage Environment: Temperature 30, Humidity 70%. Unopened MBB ensures 24 months of storage.
  • Storage Conditions: Avoid exposure to atmospheric contaminants (hydrogen chloride, hydrogen sulfide, sulfuric acid) and high temperature/humidity. Store in air under specified conditions to maintain lead solderability.
  • Soldering Suggestion: Maximum Soldering Temperature: 270 for 4S, with 1min pre-heating at 105.
  • Salt Fog Test: For tin-plated copper-coated steel leads, perform salt mist testing after wave peak welding.
