Endurance and Moisture Resistance

Endurance: Under 105C, with rated voltage and superimposed ripple current, capacitors shall meet the following requirements after returning to 20C:

  • Capacitance Change: Within 20% of initial value
  • Leakage Current: Not exceed the initial specified value
  • ESR: Not exceed 150% of initial standard value
  • Dissipation Factor (tan ): Not exceed 150% of initial standard value

Moisture Resistance: Stored at 60C, RH 90-95% for 1000H, capacitors shall meet the following requirements:

  • Capacitance Change: Within 20% of initial value
  • Leakage Current: Not exceed the initial specified value
  • ESR: Not exceed 150% of initial standard value
  • Dissipation Factor (tan ): Not exceed 150% of initial standard value
