Operating Precautions

  • Polarity: Do not reverse polarity to prevent damage and shortened lifespan.
  • Prohibited Circuits: Not suitable for high impedance, coupling, time constant, or series connection for higher withstand voltage circuits without consultation.
  • Over Voltage: Do not exceed rated voltage, even momentarily, to avoid short circuits.
  • Sudden Charge/Discharge: Avoid sudden charge and discharge. Use protection circuits if rush current exceeds 10A or 10x allowable ripple current. A 1k resistor is recommended for leakage current testing.
  • Operating Temperature and Ripple Current: Exceeding upper temperature limits or excessive ripple current can shorten lifespan and increase leakage.
  • Leakage Current: May increase slightly after soldering but can self-repair with DC voltage.
  • Applied Voltage: Recommended applied voltage should be less than 80% of the rated voltage. Peak DC and AC voltage should not exceed rated voltage.
