Operating Precautions
- Polarity: Hyncdz capacitors are polarized and must not be reversed to prevent shortened lifespan due to increased leakage current or short circuits.
- Prohibited Circuits: Not suitable for high impedance, coupling, time constant circuits, series connection for higher withstand voltage, or circuits sensitive to leakage current variations. Contact Hyncdz for specific applications like time constant circuits or series connections.
- Over voltage: Exceeding rated voltage, even momentarily, can cause short circuits.
- Sudden Charge and Discharge: Avoid sudden charge/discharge. Use protection circuits if rush current exceeds 10A or 10x allowable ripple current. A 1k resistor is recommended for leakage current measurement.
- Operating Temperature and Ripple Current: Operating above the upper temperature limit or with excess ripple current can shorten lifespan or cause failure.
- Leakage Current: May slightly increase after soldering but can self-repair with DC voltage application.
- Applied Voltage: Recommended to operate below 80% of rated voltage. Peak DC and AC voltage should not exceed rated voltage.
