Operating Precautions
- Polarity: Hyncdz capacitors are solid aluminum electrolytic capacitors with positive and negative electrodes. Do not reverse polarity during use. Reversed polarity can lead to shortened lifespan due to increasing leakage current or short circuits.
- Prohibited Circuits: Hyncdz capacitors should not be used in high impedance circuits, coupling circuits, time constant circuits, or in series connections for increased withstand voltage, as these can lead to increased leakage current. Contact Hyncdz for usage in time constant circuits or series configurations for voltage proof.
- Over Voltage: Applying voltage exceeding the rated voltage, even momentarily, can cause a short circuit.
- Sudden Charge and Discharge: Sudden charge and discharge are not recommended to maintain high reliability. Protection circuits are recommended to prevent excessive rush current, which can cause short circuits or increased leakage current. If rush current exceeds 10A or 10 times the allowable ripple current, use protection circuits. A 1k resistor is recommended for charge/discharge during leakage current testing.
- Operating Temperature and Ripple Current: Exceeding the upper category temperature limit or excessive ripple current can shorten the capacitor's life, increase leakage current, and lead to failure.
- Leakage Current: Leakage current may slightly increase due to soldering conditions. Applying DC voltage allows the capacitor to self-repair, gradually reducing leakage current.
- Applied Voltage: For reliability, the applied voltage to Hyncdz capacitors should ideally be less than 80% of the rated voltage. The peak value of DC and AC voltage should not exceed the rated voltage.
Marking
Each component or its smallest packaging unit will be marked indelibly and legibly with the following items: 1. Series and trademark. 2. Capacitance. 3. Rated voltage. 4. Negative polarity.
