Operating Precautions
Polarity: Do not reverse polarity to avoid shortened lifespan due to increased leakage current or short circuits.
Prohibited Circuits: Avoid use in high impedance, coupling, time constant, series connection for higher voltage, or circuits sensitive to large leakage current due to potential issues during soldering and other processes.
Over voltage: Do not exceed rated voltage, even momentarily, to prevent short circuits.
Sudden Charge and Discharge: Restricted for reliability. Use protection circuits if rush current exceeds 10A or 10x allowable ripple current. A 1k resistor is recommended for leakage current testing.
Operating Temperature and Ripple Current: Exceeding limits can shorten lifespan or increase leakage current, leading to failure.
Leakage Current: May slightly increase after soldering but self-repairs with DC voltage application.
Applied Voltage: Recommended to be less than 80% of rated voltage. Peak DC and AC voltage should not exceed rated voltage.
Marking
Each component or unit pack will be marked indelibly with series, trademark, capacitance, working voltage, and negative polarity indication.
