Usage Precautions

  • Ensure correct polarity; reverse connection can cause short circuits or damage. Use non-polar capacitors if polarity is uncertain.
  • Do not exceed rated voltage or apply reverse voltage. Use within rated voltage for optimal lifespan.
  • Ripple current should be below the rated value to prevent overheating and premature aging. Peak ripple voltage plus DC voltage must be less than rated voltage.
  • Operate within the rated temperature range. Lower ambient temperatures significantly increase lifespan.
  • Stored capacitors may have increased leakage current; apply voltage to reduce it.
  • Not suitable for frequent charge/discharge cycles due to capacity reduction and heat generation.
  • Avoid mechanical stress on leads during installation or soldering.
  • Soldering at excessive temperatures or duration may damage the sleeve.
  • Do not use halogenated organic solvents for cleaning. If cleaning is necessary, use approved agents and dry thoroughly with hot air (not exceeding max temp).
  • Avoid using halogenated organic series fixatives and coatings, especially near the sealing area.
  • Recommended storage: 35, <75% RH, out of direct sunlight. Shelf life is 12 months; check characteristics if stored longer.
  • Dispose of according to local industrial waste regulations.
