- Fusing Characteristics: Defined as a significant increase in resistance when subjected to specified overload, reducing the current to below 1/50 of the initial test current. Fusing time is the time required from applying the overload until fusing occurs.
- Fusing Time Requirements: Under specified rated current overload multiples, fusing time should comply with specified tables (Table 3-1 for standard and high lightning surge types, Table 3-2 for explosion-proof types, Table 3-3 for semi-fusing types). Fusing time can be customized upon user request.
- Impact Resistance: Test involves repeatedly switching a switch for 100 cycles (2s ON, 2s OFF). The test resistor should not become open-circuited. Capacitor C selection depends on customer requirements (default 10uF if not specified). Resistor R value selection depends on the circuit.
