The 392 Series and RV6 Series 0.5 W Conductive Plastic Potentiometers convert rotary motion into a change of resistance, providing a smooth transition of voltage or current levels. These economical devices are designed for wave soldering processes and PCB washability, featuring an internal shaft seal for moisture protection. They comply with MIL-R-94 standards where appropriate. Available with PC pin or solder hook terminations, these single-turn potentiometers have a 3,18 mm [0.125 in] diameter shaft in various lengths. Most configurations offer a standard or split locking 1/4-32 NEF-2A bushing in panel seal or no panel seal versions. Shaft/bushing materials include nickel-plated brass or thermoplastic, and are available in metal/metal, plastic/plastic, or a combination. Custom designs are available. Resistances range from 100 Ohm to 5 MOhm, with linear, log, and antilog tapers. The RV6 Series meets MIL-R-94 requirements.
