Fusing Characteristic Definition: Significant increase in resistance when subjected to specified overload, causing current to drop below 1/50 of initial test current. Fusing time is the time from applying overload until fusing occurs.
Fusing Time Requirements Under specified rated current overload multiples, fusing time must comply with tables (Table 3-1 for standard and high lightning resistance, Table 3-2 for explosion-proof, Table 3-3 for semi-fusing). Fusing time can be customized.
Impact Resistance Test according to Figure 3 (repeatedly switch K1 on/off 100 times, 2s on, 2s off). Resistor should not become open circuit. (Capacitor C selection based on customer requirements, typically 10uF; Resistor R selection based on circuit, 20W rated power, 0.8 power factor, typically 20W for resistors below 10W, 5.1K 5%.)
