Application Notes
- Recommended soldering conditions: Reflow soldering (peak temp. within 260, 10s max; 230+, 40s max). Hand soldering: Tip temp. 40010, 3s+1s/-0s.
- Do not use flow soldering.
- Handle with care to avoid damaging the sliding part.
- Adjust resistance with a driver inserted perpendicularly to the sliding part.
- Avoid flux and solder scattering on the resistor surface and sliding contact during soldering.
- This product is not washable.
- Do not use adhesives for fixing the slider.
- Ensure proper insulation if wiring patterns are present beneath the product.
- For applications requiring high reliability and safety, implement fail-safe designs (protective circuits, redundant circuits).
- Recommended storage conditions: Normal temperature (5-35), normal humidity (45-85% RH). Storage period: 6 months from delivery. Avoid direct sunlight and corrosive gas atmospheres.
