Application Notes

  • Adjustment force should be less than 4.9N (500gf).
  • Avoid excessive force on the sliding part during adjustment to prevent deformation or damage.
  • Insert adjustment driver perpendicular to the sliding part.
  • Reflow soldering is recommended; flow soldering is not suitable.
  • Be cautious of flux and solder scattering during soldering.
  • This product is not washable.
  • Handle with care.
  • Adhesives for fixing the slider are not recommended due to potential contact instability.
  • Excessive soldering time or temperature can impair product functions.
  • For reflow soldering, cream solder thickness should be 100-150 m.
  • Ensure proper insulation measures if wiring patterns are present directly beneath the product after mounting.
  • Refer to EIAJ RCR-2191A for potentiometer usage guidelines.
