Application Notes
- Recommended soldering method: Reflow soldering. Flow soldering is not recommended.
- Handle with care to avoid excessive load or damage to the sliding part.
- Insert adjustment driver perpendicular to the sliding part.
- Avoid flux and solder scattering on the resistor surface and sliding contact during soldering.
- Product is not washable.
- Do not use adhesives for fixing the slider.
- Ensure proper solder amount and temperature during reflow soldering to avoid insufficient bonding strength or solder bridges.
- If wiring patterns are present directly under the product after mounting, ensure insulation measures (e.g., with resist).
- For applications requiring high reliability and safety, implement fail-safe designs (e.g., protective circuits, redundant circuits).
