Soldering Notes
Lead-free Wave Soldering:
- PCB main surface preheating temperature max ramp rate: 2-3/sec.
- PCB main surface preheating duration: approximately 120s.
- PCB main surface preheating temperature range: 90-130.
- PCB bottom surface max preheating temperature: not exceeding 130.
- Temperature difference between wave crest and preheating zone: cannot be greater than 150.
- Wave soldering pot temperature: should be controlled between 250-260.
- Wave trough temperature: preferably not lower than 217. For dual wave crest, the temperature difference between the two waves should not exceed 60 to prevent secondary soldering.
- Soldering time: Dual wave "I" control between 0.5-2s, wave "II" time control between 1.5-4s, total time: 2-6s. Single wave time control between 2-6s.
- Cooling zone slope: generally refers to the average negative slope of -4 to -2/s from the highest temperature down to 90.
Iron Soldering:
- Maximum temperature: 350 5.
- Soldering time: 3 0.5 seconds.
