Soldering Notes
Lead-free Wave Soldering:
- PCB main surface preheating temperature ramp-up rate: 2-3/sec, preheating duration: approx. 120s.
- PCB main surface preheating temperature range: 90-130.
- PCB underside maximum preheating temperature: not exceeding 130.
- Temperature difference between wave crest and preheating zone: not greater than 150.
- Wave soldering pot temperature: controlled between 250-260.
- Wave trough temperature: preferably not lower than 217. For dual wave soldering, the temperature difference between the two waves should not exceed 60 to prevent secondary soldering.
- Soldering time: Dual wave "I" controlled between 0.5-2s, wave "II" controlled between 1.5-4s, total time: 2-6s. Single wave time: controlled between 2-6s.
- Cooling zone slope: generally refers to the average negative slope from highest temperature to 90: -4 to -2/s.
Iron Soldering:
- Maximum temperature: 350 5.
- Soldering time: 3 0.5 seconds.
