SpecificationDescription
PolarityDC electrolytic capacitors are polarized. Ensure correct polarity to prevent short circuits or damage. Use bipolar capacitors when polarity is uncertain. DC electrolytic capacitors are not suitable for AC applications. Bipolar capacitors are for pulsating or polarity-reversing circuits, not pure AC or high ripple current.
VoltageDo not exceed the rated voltage. Recommended working voltage is 70-80% of rated voltage for extended life.
Ripple CurrentDo not allow ripple current to exceed the permissible value. Excessive ripple current causes heating, capacitance reduction, and damage. Generally, ripple current should not exceed 80% of the rated value.

Handling & InstallationCapacitor case is not insulated from the cathode terminal; insulation measures are required if case insulation is necessary. Avoid excessive force on terminals/leads. Maintain a 2mm safety spacing when bending leads.
Soldering & CleaningUse caution with temperature and duration during soldering (within 260, not exceeding 10 seconds). Do not use halogenated solvents for cleaning; recommended solvents include methanol, isopropanol, ethanol, etc.
Circuit Board LayoutEnsure hole spacing on circuit boards matches lead spacing to avoid stress on leads. Consider hole layout carefully to prevent solder splashing onto the capacitor body.
