Capacitance Test Frequency: 1MHz50KHz (Class I: 1000pF capacitors, Class II: 100pF capacitors); 1KHz50Hz (Class I: >1nF capacitors; Class II: 100pF < C 10uF capacitors) Capacitance should be within the specified allowable deviation range.
Dissipation Factor (tan ) Test Frequency: 1MHz50KHz (Class I: 1000pF capacitors, Class II: 100pF capacitors); 1KHz50Hz (Class I: >1nF capacitors; Class II: 100pF < C 10uF capacitors) Class I: CR50pF, DF1510-4; CR50pF, DF1.5(150/ CR+7) 10-4.
Class II (X7R, X5R): Voltage(V) DF; 100 2.5%; 16 5.0%; 50 3.5%; 10 10%; 25 3.5%.
For products with size 0603 or below, or capacitance 0.22uF, DF10% or per above standards.
Insulation Resistance Test Points: Between terminals; Test Voltage: Rated voltage (UR500V) 500V (UR>500V); Reading Time: 2min Class I: Ri10000M; Class II: CR25nF, Ri4000M; CR25nF, RiCR100s.
Dielectric Withstand Voltage Applied Voltage: 2.5UR (UR200V); 2UR (UR=250V); 1.5UR (500VUR<1000V); 1.2UR (1000V); Duration: (51)s, surge current not exceeding 50mA. Capacitor should be free from breakdown, flashover, and visible damage.
Dimensions Check external dimensions with a measuring instrument of appropriate precision. See Table 1.
Appearance Visual inspection under appropriate lighting or 10x microscope. Appearance should be free from dents, cracks, burrs on edges, adhesion of foreign impurities, delamination, or peeling of metallization layer on the terminals.
Solderability Immerse the entire capacitor 10-15mm into the solder liquid. Solder temperature: 2455, time: 2s. Tinning rate should be greater than 90%.
