Testing Conditions and Methods

4.1 Visual Inspection

100% inspection using visual or 5-10x magnification to check for product deformation, damage, dents, cracks, burrs on edges, foreign material adhesion, delamination, or detachment of the metallization layer on the terminals.

4.2 Room Temperature Test

100% testing at room temperature according to product requirements. Electrical parameters should comply with Table 2.

5. Sampling Inspection

Sampling inspection for capacitance, dissipation factor, insulation resistance, dielectric withstand voltage, dimensions, appearance, and solderability. The sampling plan is based on the batch size as per Table 3. Solderability samples can be electrical non-conforming products from Table 2 tests.

Dimensions Check external dimensions with measuring instruments of appropriate precision. See Table 1
Appearance Visual inspection under appropriate light or 10x microscope. Appearance should be free from dents, cracks, edge burrs, foreign material adhesion, delamination, or detachment of the terminal metallization layer.
Solderability Immerse the entire capacitor in solder liquid 10-15mm.

Tinning rate should be greater than 90%.

Storage Recommendations

  • Storage Period: One year.
  • Recommended Usage: Within 6 months after purchase to ensure solderability (when packaged and delivered).
