Testing Conditions and Methods:

  • Visual Inspection: 100% inspection for deformation, damage, dents, cracks, burrs, foreign matter, delamination, or metallization detachment.

    • Dissipation Factor: Tested at 1MHz50KHz or 1KHz50Hz, with specific requirements for Class I and Class II (X7R, X5R) based on capacitance and voltage.
    • Insulation Resistance: Tested between terminals at rated voltage (UR500V) or 500V (UR>500V), reading time 2min.
    • Dielectric Withstand Voltage: Applied voltage varies based on rated voltage (2.5UR to 1.2UR), duration (51)s, surge current 50mA. Capacitor should show no breakdown, arcing, or visible damage.
