  • Adhesion of electrode: Termination and body should be no damage. Applied force: 10N for 3216 series.
  • Low temperature resistance: No mechanical damage. Inductance change within 10%, Q value change within 30% at -402 for 1000h.
  • Bending strength: No mechanical damage.
  • Vibration: No mechanical damage. Inductance change within 10%, Q value change within 30%. Amplitude: 1.5mm, 2h in each of 3 directions.
  • High temperature resistance: No mechanical damage. Inductance change within 10%, Q value change within 30% at 852 for 1000h.
  • Static Humidity: No mechanical damage. Inductance change within 10%, Q value change within 30% at 602, 90%-95% RH for 1000h.
  • High temperature load: No mechanical damage. Inductance change within 10%, Q value change within 30% at 852 for 1000h with rated current.
  • Temperature Shock: No mechanical damage. Inductance change within 10%, Q value change within 30%. -40 (303min) to +85 (303min), 32 cycles.

Recommended Soldering Conditions

  • Suitable for reflow soldering.
  • Reflow Soldering Profile: Follow specified curve. Temperature difference between solder and ferrite surface should be limited to 150 max during pre-heating, and 100 max during cooling.
  • Iron Soldering: Temperature: 350 (Max), Power: 30W (Max), Dwell Time: < 5S. Avoid touching terminal electrodes.

Cleaning

  • Cleaning Conditions: Temperature: 60 (max), Time: 1 minute (min), Ultrasonic power: 200W (max).

Storage Requirements

  • Storage Period: Within 1 year from the inspection date at the inductor company. If exceeding 1 year, check solderability before use.
  • Storage Conditions: Temperature: -10 to +40, Relative Humidity: 30% to 70%. Avoid corrosive substances, humidity, dust, heat shock, vibration, and direct sunlight. Store in airtight packaging on a shelf.
