The CRA-Series resistors meet various reliability standards including Temperature Coefficient of Resistance, Short Time Overload, IR Reflow, Leaching, Soldering Heat, Temperature Cycling, Electric Iron, Resistance to Solvent, Load Life in Humidity, Load Life (Endurance), and Insulation Resistance, as detailed in the product specifications.

Performance Characteristics

Power Derating Curve: Power rating is based on continuous full-load at ambient temperature of 70. For operation above 70, derating is required according to the derating curve.

Land Pattern Design

Recommended land pattern design for reflow soldering is provided in the product specifications.

General Information

  • Equipments Applicable: Products are suitable for low temperature processing applicable to IR reflow surface mounting devices. Not recommended for wave soldering.
  • Product Testing Method: Tested using four-feet probe touching the back of both electrodes. Customized testing methods are available upon request.
  • Standard Resistance Values: Marking codes for standard resistance values are available.
