Product Overview
The SG-8018 series crystal oscillators are programmable, CMOS output devices designed for a wide frequency range of 0.67 MHz to 170 MHz with 1 ppm step resolution. They offer a broad supply voltage range from 1.62 V to 3.63 V and feature output enable (OE) or standby (ST) functions. With a frequency tolerance of 50 ppm across an operating temperature range of -40 C to +105 C (including aging), these oscillators are suitable for various applications requiring precise timing. Available in multiple package sizes (2.5 x 2.0 mm to 7.0 x 5.0 mm), they utilize PLL technology for short lead times and can be programmed with the "SG-Writer II" field programmer. These oscillators are designed with environmental considerations, complying with EU RoHS directives and are Pb-free.

Pin Description:
- OE (Input): Output enable. High: Specified frequency output from OUT pin. Low: Out pin is low (weak pull down), only output driver is disabled.
- ST (Input): Standby. High: Specified frequency output from OUT pin. Low: Out pin is low (weak pull down), device goes to standby mode. Supply current reduces to I_std.
- GND (Power): Ground.
- OUT (Output): Clock output.
- VCC (Power): Power supply.
