The CL21/MPE series metallized polyester film capacitors are epoxy-encapsulated, non-inductive wound capacitors designed for use in electronic equipment. They feature a small size, good self-healing properties, and are coated with flame-retardant epoxy resin powder. These capacitors are widely used in DC, pulse, and switching circuits, as well as in DC filtering circuits for electronic ballasts and inverters.

Usage Guidelines

  • Do not exceed the upper category temperature.
  • Avoid overload operation.
  • Do not exceed the maximum pulse current.
  • Avoid repeated squeezing at the lead root.
  • Soldering: Wave soldering TP 125C for 120s, Ts 160C for 45s. Iron soldering tip temperature not exceeding 350C for max 3 seconds. Not suitable for reflow soldering.

Typical values under sinusoidal voltage, ambient temperature 85C, and internal temperature rise T=15C.
