Product Overview

The CBB81/PPS series high-voltage metallized polypropylene film/foil capacitors (impregnated type) are designed for high-voltage and high-frequency pulse circuits. These capacitors feature a metallized film and metal foil composite inner series non-inductive structure, with tin-plated copper wire or tin-plated copper-clad steel wire leads. They are encapsulated with flame-retardant epoxy resin powder, offering low loss, low internal temperature rise, and high dv/dt and overcurrent capabilities. Typical applications include deflection circuits in TVs and monitors (S-correction and line flyback waveforms), electronic ballasts, energy-saving lamps, absorption circuits, and SCR rectifier circuits.

Usage Rules

  • Usage Range: Do not exceed the upper category temperature, avoid overload, and do not exceed the maximum pulse current.
  • Operation Precautions: Avoid repeated squeezing at the lead root, and be mindful of lead tip sharpness.
  • Soldering: Solder tin temperature should not exceed 350 with a soldering time not exceeding 3 seconds when using a soldering iron. For wave soldering MPP polypropylene film capacitors, TP 110 for 120 seconds; Ts 120 for 45 seconds. For P7.5mm, T4mm, wave soldering time < 4 seconds. Not suitable for reflow soldering.
