Product Overview
The CBB81/PPS series high-voltage metallized polypropylene film/foil capacitors (impregnated type) are designed for high-voltage and high-frequency pulse circuits. These capacitors feature a metallized polypropylene film and aluminum foil composite construction with an internal non-inductive series structure. They are suitable for applications such as TV and monitor deflection circuits (S-correction and line flyback waveforms), electronic ballasts, energy-saving lamps, absorbers, and SCR rectifier circuits. Key advantages include low loss, low internal temperature rise, and high dv/dt and overcurrent capabilities.

Maximum Pulse Rise Slope (dV/dt)
If the actual working voltage (U) is lower than the rated voltage (UR), the capacitor can operate in higher dV/dt conditions. The allowable dV/dt value should be multiplied by UR/U.

Storage Conditions

Usage Rules
- Usage Scope: Do not exceed the upper category temperature. Avoid overload use. Do not exceed the maximum pulse current.
- Handling Precautions: Avoid repeated squeezing at the lead root. Pay attention to the lead tip.
- Soldering: Solder heat can transfer to the capacitor core through lead terminals and encapsulation layers. Be mindful of potential degradation or damage from high temperatures and prolonged soldering.
- Soldering Temperature Ranges:
- Wave Soldering (MPP Polypropylene Film Capacitors): TP 110 for 120 seconds; Ts 120 for 45 seconds. For P7.5mm, T4mm, wave soldering time < 4 seconds.
- Soldering Iron: Tip temperature not exceeding 350, time not exceeding 3 seconds.
- Lead film capacitors are not suitable for reflow soldering.
- Ts: Maximum temperature the component body is exposed to during wave soldering.
