Product Overview

The DGCX X2 series is a range of metalized polypropylene film capacitors designed for suppressing electromagnetic interference (EMI) in power supplies. These capacitors feature a non-inductive winding structure with excellent self-healing properties, capable of withstanding high voltage surges. Encased in a flame-retardant plastic shell (UL94V-0) and sealed with flame-retardant epoxy resin, they are ideal for interference suppression and X-line applications where capacitor failure must not pose a shock hazard. They are compliant with RoHS, REACH, and halogen-free requirements.

Usage Guidelines

  • Operating Range: Do not exceed the upper limit category temperature. Avoid overload and exceeding maximum pulse current.
  • Handling: Avoid repeated squeezing at the lead root. Be mindful of lead tip sharpness.
  • Soldering:
    • Wave Soldering: TP 110; Ts 120, 45s. For P7.5mm, T4mm, soldering time < 4 seconds.
    • Soldering Iron: Tip temperature not exceeding 350, soldering time not exceeding 3 seconds.
    • Reflow Soldering: Not suitable for film capacitors with printed lines.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in original packaging.
  • Temperature: Max 35

  • Storage Time: Maximum 12 months from the production date marked on the packaging bag.
  • Note: Prolonged exposure to air may degrade lead solderability. Avoid high temperature and humidity environments.
