Encased in a flame-retardant plastic shell and epoxy resin, they are ideal for interference suppression and X-class (X2) cross-line capacitor circuits, particularly in applications where capacitor failure would not pose a shock hazard. Typical applications include interference suppressors and cross-line capacitor circuits.
