The MPX X2 series metallized polypropylene film capacitors are designed for suppressing electromagnetic interference in power supplies. These capacitors feature a non-inductive winding structure with metallized polypropylene film and are encapsulated in a flame-retardant plastic case with flame-retardant epoxy resin. They are suitable for applications where the failure of the capacitor would not create a risk of electric shock, such as interference suppressors and X-line capacitor circuits. Key advantages include a good self-healing property, the ability to withstand high voltage surges, and robust construction.
