These X2 class metallized polypropylene film capacitors feature a non-inductive winding structure and are encapsulated in a flame-retardant plastic case with epoxy resin. They are suitable for applications where the failure of the capacitor would not create a shock hazard, such as interference suppressors and X-line capacitor circuits.
