Swept from 10Hz to 55Hz and back for approx. 1 minute. Total time 6 hours, three times in perpendicular directions every two hours.

16 Flame Test Capacitor extinguishes automatically after flame removal. Capacitor placed in flame for 15 seconds, removed for 15 seconds, repeated 5 times.
17 Terminal Strength Lead wire without breakage, capacitor without damage. Tensile: Capacitor body fixed, each lead wire subjected to 10N vertical force for 101 seconds. Bending: Lead wire subjected to 5N weight, bent 90 outwards, returned, bent 90 in opposite direction, returned. Each bend 2-3 seconds.
18 Active Flammability Gauze does not ignite. Single capacitor completely wrapped with gauze (at least one layer, not more than two). Capacitor subjected to 20 discharges, 5 seconds apart. AC power maintained for 2 minutes, then final discharge.
19 Temperature Rapid Change Appearance: No visible damage. Capacitance change rate: B(Y5P), E(Y5U): 20%; F(Y5V): 30%. D.F.: B(Y5P), E(Y5U): 5.0%; F(Y5V): 7.5%. I.R.: >3000M. Dielectric Strength: See item 7. Capacitor subjected to five temperature cycles, then two continuous alternating cycles. Pre-treatment: Stored at 852 for 1 hour, then at room temp for 242 hours. Post-treatment: Stored at room temp for 242 hours.
