The DGCX X2 series metallized polypropylene film capacitors are designed for suppressing electromagnetic interference (EMI) in power supplies. These capacitors feature a non-inductive winding structure with metallized polypropylene film, offering excellent self-healing properties and high voltage surge capability. Encased in a flame-retardant plastic shell (UL94V-0) and sealed with epoxy resin, they are suitable for interference suppression and X-line circuits where capacitor failure must not lead to electric shock hazard. Key applications include interference suppressors and cross-capacitor circuits.

Usage Guidelines

  • Do not exceed the upper operating temperature limit.
  • Avoid overload operation and exceeding maximum pulse current.
  • Handle with care to avoid repeated squeezing at the lead wire root and be mindful of lead wire tips.
  • Soldering: Observe recommended temperatures and times for wave soldering (TP110, Ts120 for 45s; P7.5mm, T4mm, <4s) and iron soldering (tip temperature 350, time 3s). Not suitable for reflow soldering.
