The DGCX X2 series capacitor is a metallized polypropylene film capacitor designed for suppressing electromagnetic interference (EMI) in power supplies. It features a non-inductive winding structure with metallized polypropylene film, offering excellent self-healing capabilities and the ability to withstand high voltage surges. Encased in a flame-retardant plastic shell (UL94V-0) and sealed with epoxy resin, these capacitors are suitable for interference suppression and X-class circuits where component failure should not pose an electric shock hazard. They are not recommended for capacitive power supplies or high-temperature/high-humidity environments without prior consultation.
