Product Overview
The DGCX X2 series of metallized polypropylene film capacitors are designed for suppressing electromagnetic interference (EMI) in power supplies. These capacitors feature a non-inductive winding structure with a metallized polypropylene film, a tin-plated copper-clad steel lead, and are encapsulated in a flame-retardant plastic case (PBT) and epoxy resin, meeting UL94V-0 standards. They offer good self-healing properties and can withstand high voltage surges. Typical applications include interference suppression circuits and X-class capacitor circuits where failure of the capacitor does not pose a risk of electric shock. These capacitors are not suitable for capacitive power supplies or high-temperature/high-humidity environments.
