The MPX X2 series capacitors are designed for suppressing electromagnetic interference (EMI) in power supplies. Constructed with a metallized polypropylene film and a non-inductive winding structure, these capacitors offer excellent self-healing properties and can withstand high voltage surges. They are encapsulated in a flame-retardant plastic case (UL94V-0) and sealed with flame-retardant epoxy resin, making them suitable for applications where capacitor failure should not pose a risk of electric shock. Typical applications include interference suppressors and X-capacitors in line filter circuits.
